Jayson Stock, GIS Specialist, performs GIS (Geographic Information Systems) analysis resulting in detailed visual analysis and maps, both global and domestic, for Chesapeake Weather Services. Jayson also works closely with the Chesapeake Corporate Operations Center, incorporating GIS weather technology into real-time monitoring of CHK assets, land ares and personnel safety.
Before joining Chesapeake Weather Services in September of 2007, Stock spent two and a half years as a GIS Analyst in the land department at Chesapeake Energy producing maps with leasehold position and competitor acreage position. Prior to Chesapeake, Stock started his career at OneOK/ONG in Oklahoma City performing GIS analysis, HOA risk assessment, and database analysis and management. Stock holds a bachelor’s degree in Geography from the University of Oklahoma (2004) where he studied both GIS, remote sensing techniques, and meteorology.
